Must remember when not in the company of fellow geeks, that generally people will not get my X-Men references. Especially when they are just sound effects like snikt and bamf. And if I call someone a lowly Morlock or a hoity toity Hellsfire Club member, they will probably come back with blank stares. And while they may know their code names like Cyclops and Colossus, they certainly won't know their proper names of Scott Summers and Piotr Nikolaievitch Rasputin. Fuck it, I'll spew out all the comic book geek speak that I want. Can't help it if they had an incomplete childhood. Never read the X-Men. Who are these people.
