death of a jerry springer guest

Cover the ground with ash and cacti. Rocky craggy lawn. The neighbors, they complain but you've put the noise block on their verbiage. Water your rocks daily, confident sprouts will show. Those damn kids better get off your lawn.

Inside your daughter is sucking off Pedro the pool cleaner. He is pungent from scouring tile all day, and she rolls in it. He says rude things in Spanish while excavating her furrow. She shrieks. You continue to water your rocks.

Your wife reclines on ratty lawn furniture. Ass hanging out the bottom. Shandy drool runs out of her lips. Snoring. She dreams of a man who is not you. You look at her dirty flip flops in disgust. You wish she would run off with her dreams.

Soon your drinking buddies will arrive. Racing down the river. Throwing back Schlitz. Outboard motor menaces the creatures below the water line. Teens swinging from a rope, hoot and holler as they dive into your wake. Steering is bliss.

You die in the ambulance on the way to the emergency room. Aluminum can lodged in your face. Water logged and slimy. You barfed bile into the man trying to resuscitate you, your dying statement. He curses you. It is your eulogy.
